Matthias Günther, Deputy Institute Director of Fraunhofer MEVIS, was designated Fellow of the Society at this year’s meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) held in Cape Town, South Africa from May 9 to 14. He was recognized for his significant contributions to arterial spin labeling and the advancement of perfusion MRI.

The ISMRM is a multi-disciplinary nonprofit association that promotes innovation, development, and application of magnetic resonance techniques in medicine and biology worldwide.
