Fraunhofer MEVIS offers university students a wide range of opportunities to gather practical experience as a part of their studies.

We are looking for students in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, and related fields to join us in our work on interesting research and development topics.

Fraunhofer MEVIS offers projects in various fields of medical image computing, quantitative image analysis, interactive visualization, and a wide range of medical applications. Students may also use their internship to work towards completing a diploma or a Master's thesis.

We expect independent and goal-oriented working, interest in working with digital medical imagery, and enthusiasm for cooperating in interdisciplinary teams. Previous knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly C++, and written and spoken English language skills are required.

Fraunhofer MEVIS participates in this event with a workshop "Software development in medicine. Insights into the daily work of a female computer scientist". In this workshop we give insights into the areas of medical image computing and software development.
