Fraunhofer MEVIS well represented at ISMRM 2020

Fraunhofer MEVIS is well represented at the 28th Annual Meeting & Exhibition of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) virtually held from August 8 to 14, 2020.

MEVIS researchers are presenting current R&D results in MR imaging in two Oral Presentations (Monday), one Electronic Power Pitch Presentation (Thursday), and in four Digital Poster Presentations (Monday and Thursday). The topics covered range from arterial spin labeling (ASL) and platform-independent MR sequence development to MR metamaterials. Two contributions received a “magna cum laude” award.

Due to the SARS CoV-2 pandemic, the meeting originally planned for April in Sydney and postponed to August in Paris has been transformed into a virtual conference and exhibition.

The ISMRM is an international, nonprofit, scientific association whose purpose is to promote communication, research, development, and applications in the field of magnetic resonance in medicine and biology and other related topics and to develop and provide channels and facilities for continuing education in the field.
