Fraunhofer MEVIS is presenting itself in many ways at the 99th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) from December 1-6 in Chicago. This year for the first time also at the shared exhibition stand at the German Pavilion (booth 2965-E) in the Lakeside Center.

With the German Pavilion at the RSNA, the German Federal Government is promoting the excellent research and development work of selected networks and institutions within the framework of the international campaign “Germany – Partner for Medical Technology” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This year, Fraunhofer MEVIS will present itself for the first time at the German Pavilion (booth 2965-E) in the Lakeside Center as partner for contract research, for the development of quality assured software and clinical applications, as well as for support in clinical trials.

Fraunhofer MEVIS will be exhibiting special software and mobile applications for image-guided diagnosis and therapy, e.g. for planning and assessment of radio frequency ablation. In support of complicated liver operations Fraunhofer MEVIS’ “Liver Explorer” on a tablet PC shows local blood flow territories and the remaining organ volume or superimpose the virtual venous systems onto the real liver during the procedure.

You are also invited to visit Fraunhofer MEVIS at the Educational Exhibit and the Quantitative Imaging Reading Room (QIRR) in the Lakeside Learning Center or to attend one of our presentations in the scientific program.
