Torben Paetz receives „Best Student Paper Award“
The award was submitted on the 11th Conference on Computer Vision, which took place from September 5th to 11th in Crete, Greece.
This year the biannual award is sponsored by Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
The awarded paper „Ambrosio-Tortorelli Segmentation of Stochastic Images“ investigates the impact of uncertainties such as measurement errors on the image data analysis. Such uncertainties influence the information derived from the image data as well as the resulting decisions. The research has great potential for the every day clinical routine.
