BREMEN.AI at Fraunhofer MEVIS

The third meeting of the artificial intelligence cluster BREMEN.AI will take place this evening in the premises of Fraunhofer MEVIS and in the labs of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University Bremen.

In the event, sold out with 150 participants, MEVIS researcher Dr. Hans Meine gives a lecture on “The Digital Revolution in Medicine—Influence and Limitations of Deep Learning”. Further lectures on AI in robotics will be given by Prof. Michael Beetz, Head of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and Jonas Reiling, Technology Manager for Branch Logistics of dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG.

BREMEN.AI is the cluster for artificial intelligence in the Bremen area. Through regular events and through the digital channels managed by the cluster, users of artificial intelligence, interested companies, start-ups and researchers can network with one another and exchange views on current topics from practice and research.

As an independent division of bremen digitalmedia e.V., BREMEN.AI is supported by the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Bremen, the Senator for Economics, Labor and Ports as well as various companies from the Bremen economic area.
