The radiologist no longer looks at the recorded medical data first. Instead, the AI extracts the complex interrelations from the information and summarizes them. Doctors use the resulting knowledge and can share it with patients.
From May on, visitors of the Ars Electronica Center can watch the new short film “Physicians’ Colleague, Patients’ Helper: The Cognitive Computer” in the 3D theater Deep Space 8K. The film shows how deep neural networks contribute to the evaluation of medical data and how this also changes the role of physicians and patients.
