89th Annual Conference of the DPG and DPG Spring Meeting of the Matter and Cosmos Section (SMuK)

 

The DPG (Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft) Spring Meeting 2026 in Erlangen is a scientific research conference that brings together more than 2,000 physicists from around the world to showcase their work, connect with others, and discover groundbreaking physics research.

The conference takes place at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and brings together researchers working in both fundamental and applied areas of physics. Key topics include particle, nuclear, plasma, and radiation physics, alongside gravitation, cosmology, astrophysics, and extraterrestrial physics. The program further covers theoretical and mathematical physics, medical and energy-related applications, the history and philosophy of physics, and emerging fields such as information science and artificial intelligence.
